Travelling the world is so much easier than it used to be. In the space of just the last decade, we've been granted the ability to book flights to the other side of the planet in mere seconds, with just a few clicks. Railway lines criss-cross much of the world, taking us practically anywhere we'd like to go, meaning that almost anyone can pick out a destination on a map and figure out the most effective and fun way to get there.
When it comes to first-hand experience seeing the world by rail, no one does it quite like our Rail Plus consultants. We sat down with Zoe Condon, to find out what she loves about train travel and how Canada took her breath away, onboard the Rocky Mountaineer.
Rocky Mountaineer has extended their season for 2016 to start earlier in April and have several additional services in October compared to last year. The Coastal Passage was welcomed into the Rocky Mountaineer family in 2015 and was so popular that more services were added to the 2016 season. In total for all the Rocky Mountaineer routes, there are an additional 17 services in 2016.
When you are in a city on the opposite side of the world, you expect things to be different. Before you leave, you make a list of all the things you would like to see and do, you spend hours researching and finding out the little hidden sightseeing treasures.

But Switzerland is a country bursting with plenty of family-friendly experiences including a wide variety of outdoor activities, as well as museums, water parks and other attractions that make it a fantastic place for kids and parents alike.
