Choose from two magical itineraries
Experience the majesty of The Belmond Grand Hibernian through of two itineraries: Legends and Loughs or Grand Tour of Ireland. These fantastic rail journeys are 5 days/4 nights and 7 days/6 nights respectively, with both offering a fantastic experience of Ireland’s lush green landscapes and magnificent coastlines.
The Legends and Loughs route will see you start your journey in Dublin, with the first stop being in Cork where you will be taken on a guided tour of the historic Jameson distillery. After a restful night’s sleep in your well appointed cabin and a hearty breakfast served in the train’s ornate dining carriage, you will have several day activities in Cork to choose between before arriving at your next destination: Killarney.
After Killarney, The Grand Hibernian makes its way to Galway, where you will alight for a city tour. Next up is Westport where you will visit Ashford Castle, situated in the beautiful Connemara National Park. After several more day activities you will return to the train for a sumptuous dinner complemented by stunning views of the verdant countryside before arriving back in Dublin the following morning.
If taking the second, longer route, Grand Tour of Ireland, you will enjoy all these fabulous destinations and attractions with the addition of Belfast and Coleraine. In Belfast you will enjoy a private tour of the award winning tourist attraction, The Titanic Experience. The following day, you will disembark the train in Coleraine to visit The Giant’s Causeway, or, alternatively, take a transfer to one of three available golf clubs. After Coleraine, The Grand Hibernian makes another stop along the coast of Northern Ireland before rolling into Dublin the next morning.
